Whether your interest in sharps and needles is a newfound passion, or you've been honing your skills for some time, we'd love to have you along to our Needle Social.

This is an opportunity for you to fine tune your skills, get some pointers from an expert, or just join like-minded players for a night solely focused on sharing and developing skills in what is often seen as a beautiful, if slightly daunting, sadomasochistic outlet. The event will be facilitated by kink professional Mistress Zoe Demure, who is renowned for her artistry, precision, and responsible use of sharps, as well as Her passion to impart knowledge with empathy and kindness.

Learn new techniques or simply find inspiration amongst kindred kinksters and share your experiences amongst a receptive group in a safe and beautiful space.

This is an informal learning experience where we encourage the sharing of skills and knowledge, but there is no requisite level to join. We accept people at any level of their needle journey, even those with a simple curiosity who want to know more. If you are planning on applying needles, please BYO sharps.

If you are just starting out and not ready to invest in an array of sharps equipment, or if you happen to forget you gear, we have a limited number of Starter Packs available for purchase.

The pack consists of:

• 10 pairs of high-quality medical grade gloves

• 60 needles made up of 20 needles of three different gauges (23, 24 and 25)

• Swabs

• Sharps disposal container

• If you have a massage table you'd like to work on, please bring it along for your set up

• Numbers for this event will be capped at 20

• Self-needlers are welcome to attend

• We will have several stations set up as well as some sanitary floor space for those just wanting to explore the basics.

• This is an alcohol-free event, but complimentary tea, coffee, and soft drinks will be available as will some light snacks.

• You are welcome to BYO food, or order in from a variety of take-away in the area.

• There is no dress code - we just ask you be comfortable for the play you want to engage in.

• We do have space to change clothes if you'd like to.

• On a Sunday evening, parking is generally quite easy with free on-street parking nearby and several paid car parks within a few hundred meters of SoS.
